Gripster Sport Reviews

TRULY REMARKABLE. TECH SPEC's GRIPSTER SPORT Grip skins use a highly innovative adhesive that allows them to be peeled off and reused numerous times. Really, these things are a revelation. Now go out and get some! Don't spend another minute riding without them. MOTORCYCLE CONSUMER NEWS, Volume 36, #6, June 2005

- INGENIOUS! The Gripster Sport by Tech Spec consists of two laser-etched rubber grip skins that fit onto either side of your tank. The Gripster allows you to shift your weight with greater confidence. It makes so much sense you won't believe you didn't think of it yourself.

-Thank you very much for my Can Am Spyder tank grips. The improved cornering is 1000%. I just squeeze with my legs and tight fast cornering has never been more fun. Your tank grip/grip pads just hold me in place and I really feel much safer. I will refer your tank grips to everyone.

- Currently I ride a highly modified 2000 TL1000R and I've owned numerous sport bikes in the past. I've been slicing and dicing the back roads of the Sierras for years (many more than I care to admit). Hanging off my rig has always been one of my favorite pastimes, and has only become more enjoyable since I've slapped on a pair of your "Tech Spec Gripsters". Bottom line is this - they're awesome! The added feeling of security the "Gripsters" have given me has taken my riding to the next level. I won't ride without them... period. Can't wait to see what the pros can do with these babies. Thanks for an awesome product and keep up the good work.

- So now I'm in the market for a new sport bike. As I'm looking around, I think to myself, Self – I can't hang off my rig unless I have some of Tech Spec's Gripster Skins.

Check out the picture of my old rig. I believe these were the second set of prototype skins we tried? Man they worked great!

Thanks!

- Awesome product! Looks great! Grips Great! Back from the 4500 mile trip and TechSpec's Gripsters worked great. I must say that I am very impressed. Forget the transparent films and all that crap. This kit really does the job and looks good to boot. The design and shape of the pads are very complimentary to the K12S.

Dallas/Albuquerque/Barstow (CA)/Monterey, Tahoe, Vegas (VIA Death Valley), Bryce Canyon and Zion NP to Boulder (UT), Durango, Canyon (TX), Dallas, and your product still looks and feels great!

- Your product works great, is exactly what I wanted and surpasses my expectations. It's plenty thick, protects the paint from my knees, and boy does it stay in place. The boys at the BMW shop couldn't believe they weren't glued on. You guys did a great job with the patterns as well. I am very impressed and highly recommend your product.

- Christiaan Horton sent us the pattern for his Frame Guards and we made them up. Last TechSpec heard, Christiaan was happy not only with his new found grip, but the fact that they were standing up to the abuse he puts them through.

Thank you Christiaan

- My track day at Thunderhill went great and my new grip skins fit like a glove. The added grip helped, especially under braking and when changing direction from one side to the other.

Thanks again,

- My Tank Grips arrived today and the pattern is perfect. They fit just like a puzzle piece. Installation was easy and it adds to my bikes aggressive track look. I should really be able to focus on the track rather than my body position on the bike.

Thanks for the excellent service and personalized product!

- I just wanted to tell you guys that your product is great!!! My bike handles so much better, I'm not constantly pushing myself back in my seat, braking no longer lurches me forward, less fatigue....it has just helped so much!!! For $30, you can't do anything better for your bike than adding these skins!!!

Thanks again!!!

- Thank you TechSpec,
By far the best 50 bucks you can spend on your bike. I'm not just trying to kiss your a- -, but I can honestly say every sport bike I ever own will have a set of TechSpec’s Gripster, Grip Pads on it.

Thanks again,

Getting prepped for a 4500 mile trip and I must say that I am very impressed. Forget the transparent films and all that crap. This kit really does the job and looks good to boot. The design and shape of the pads are very complimentary to the K1200S. You manufacture and sell the quality product that I have been looking for. I only wish I had found you sooner.

- I have a CBR600 F4I and live in the hills with many turns and average 350 miles per week (Santa Cruz - Redwood City daily). Before I put the Gripsters on my bike I would slide forward on the downhills and braking. This would place uncomfortable pressure on my wrists. With the Gripster Sports and a little pressure on my knees I was able to stay in position releasing the pain in my wrists. There was also a noticeable improvement in the control when cornering. I would recommend them for anyone who wants to stay put.

-The finished product looks great but looks are not everything. These are not just for track use. On the street you can take a lot of stress off your wrists and arms by squeezing and gripping the tank with your legs. No more smashing the family jewels into your tank when braking.
